about

Dopestylevsky, ePRHYME's sophomore solo album, was released in 2011 and was the first Hip Hop record released by legendary NW indy label K Records in almost a decade. The album showcases ePRHYME'S signature blend of universal b-boy poetics and personalized rap polemic, as he weaves together a lyrical tapestry of stories, experiences, and perspectives on everything from the environment, to global capital, to work and parenthood, to street musicians and the struggles of young artists, to neo-hasidic teachings of spiritual growth and transformation. Beats produced almost entirely by NW heavyweight Smoke M2D6 (except "Poppasong", produced by Foundation). The album boasts a host of dope underground features, including the Ghetto Dali Llama himself, Baltimore's own LABTEKWON; Y-Love, the world's freshest openly gay African American ex-Hassidic rapper; and XPERIENCE, Seattle's best.
